Public Transportation:
Subway : Take the Orange line heading toward Forest Hills to Green Street. When you exit the station walk left up Green Street toward Centre Street; take a left on Centre Street and walk for about 5 minutes, Vee Vee is on the right hand side at #763, just beyond the Dunkin’ Donuts.
Bus : Take Bus 39 (Forest Hills Sta. – Back Bay Sta. Via Huntington Ave.) and get off at the Monument stop (just past the Dunkin’Donuts). The bus stops a few doors past Vee Vee on the same block.
Driving:
From Downtown Boston
Take Huntington Avenue towards Brookline, turning left onto South Huntington Avenue (there will be a Texaco gas station on the corner). Continue driving on South Huntington past the VA Hospital (a large white building on the left), this will eventually turn into Centre Street. Continuing up Centre Street about a mile, Vee Vee is on the right side just after the Dunkin’ Donuts. For parking, take the right just before the Dunkin Donuts, Thomas Street, and park in the free municipal lot to the right, behind Blanchards.
From Brookline, Newton, & Wellesley
Take Route 9 east towards Boston; after you pass the traffic light at Harvard Avenue make a right turn onto the Jamaicaway. Once on the Jamaicaway, at the third light take a left onto Pond Street (the boat house and pond will be on your right). At the end of Pond Street, take a right turn onto Centre Street. Continue on Centre Street for about a half mile; Vee Vee is on the right side just after the Dunkin’ Donuts. For parking, take the right just before the Dunkin Donuts, Thomas Street, and park in the free municipal lot to the right, behind Blanchards.
From the North
Take I-95 or I-93 to Storrow Drive. When you come out of the tunnel, the Charles River will be on your right. Stay in the center lane to avoid an exit to Copley Square. After passing that exit, get into the left lane. Take the 2nd left exit to “Fenway/Route 1/Kenmore”. Stay to your right when curving around the exit, and follow the signs to “Riverway/Rt. 1”, bearing to your right on Boylston Street outbound. Continue on Boylston Street to the Exxon station on the left side and go straight through the light onto Brookline Avenue. Pass through the Longwood hospital area to the Jamaicaway/Riverway and turn left. At the third light, take a left onto Pond Street (the boat house and pond will be on your right). At the end of Pond Street, go right onto Centre Street. Continue on Centre Street about a half mile, Vee Vee is on the right side just after the Dunkin Donuts. For parking, take the right just before the Dunkin Donuts, Thomas Street, and park in the free municipal lot to the right, behind Blanchards.
From Dedham & West Roxbury
Take Route 1 to the VFW Parkway and then to Centre Street. Turn left and continue past the Faulkner Hospital on your left and the Arnold Arboretum on your right. When you come to the rotary, continue on Centre Street on the other side (you will pass Route 203). Continue on Centre Street to the stop sign at the monument, then turn left. Vee Vee will be on the left side at #763. For parking, take the left just after the Dunkin Donuts, Thomas Street, and park in the free municipal lot to the right.
From Cambridge
Follow Massachusetts Avenue across the bridge, taking a right onto Huntington Avenue (at Symphony Hall). Continue on Huntington Avenue towards Brookline, turning left onto South Huntington Avenue (there will be a Texaco gas station on the corner). Continue driving on South Huntington past the VA Hospital (a large white building on the left), this will eventually turn into Centre Street. Continue on Centre Street about a mile; Vee Vee is on the right side just after the Dunkin’ Donuts.
